|Recent progress in higher spin gravity|

Higher spin gravity has been known as a fully nonlinear field theory for almost thirty years, and since the advent of Vasiliev's equations there has been a tremendous amount of progress in understanding its intrinsic mathematical structure and physical properties.
We will report on the state of the theory and some of its most interesting predictions for holography, black hole physics and cosmology, and its relation to string theory.
